Home Security Cameras Canary vs Drop Cam? (1 Viewer)

Looking for a home security camera and have narrowed down to these 2. Any opinions/reviews on these?

Can you use multiple phones to view camera? After some research on the net I'm leaning towards the Canary but would like to here from those that might have either. Thanks

[avoiding injuries]

I'm looking at drop cam as a baby monitor. We have a friend that uses it in their NYC apartment and it works great for what they use it for. For me, it would have to be a secondary monitor as I wouldn't be able to keep the app open all of the time.

I also have a puppy that keeps escaping from it's crate when we are gone. I'd like to keep an eye on her as well.

I suppose it would work for home security as you can update your subscription and view past history.
