So I've been looking into getting a vpn service for my home. Dont know much about them but from what I've read it basically makes you invisible to your ISP and others. I know I want a service that does not keep logs, I can install on windows, my ipad and android phone, beyond that I dont know what to look for.

So anyone use any of this type of service? Please provide recomendations. Also, how can you tell when you are 'secure'. Is there a way to shut it off? I know it tends to slow down your connection so when playing a game on the internet I dont want to use it.

I have been using this service for a while now and really like them. I use it on both my desktop and my ipad.

Here is a link to the service and a review of the service by pcmaghttps://www.privateinternetaccess.com/http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2414799,00.asp
Interesting that you can pay with a gift card from a store like Target or Starbucks.
they are a really nice service. For the price they are hard to beat.
Is there a coupon code for the site?

The Security Now podcast is sponsored by (but also highly recommends) ProXPN - their code is proxpn.com/twit - enter coupon code twit in the form and it's like 20% off I think?

I am not aware but it is already so cheap I doubt it. They are only a little more than $3 a month.
