My beef with the holistic nonsense is that there really is no regulation of it - down to what is claimed to be in the stuff they sell. This story is a clear illustration of the dangers of that.

It would seem like they took a "regulated" drug

"Tests on their blood and urine revealed they had all taken hallucinogenic drug 2C-E, which is known as Aquarust in Germany and has been illegal since the end of last year"

If it had been a homeopathic "drug" it wouldn't have done anything.

Can you get this 2C-E here in the states? The article describes the effects as a cross between acid and ecstasy. I used to combine those two drugs because the combo was great.

 
I had never heard of it before seeing this story. Seems like it would be a popular combo among the college crowd.
