Since the 2003 season through Week 7 this year, just over 2,500 NFL games have been played. What percentage of games end up with the following point differentials?

I'm guessing a fairly high % on all. It's the main reason NFL > NCAA. Just look at the spread of pointspreads on each league for yet more confirmation.

this week alone there isn't a spot over 8 in the NFL, but there are spots of 30-40 points and up in college

Since the start of the 2003 season through week #07 of 2012 [2,505 games],

31% have ended with a point differential of 5 points or less.

57% have ended with a point differential of 10 points or less.

71% have ended with a point differential of 15 points or less.

81% have ended with a point differential of 20 points or less.

90% have ended with a point differential of 25 points or less.

The most lopsided point differential is 59 points!

Nearly 25% [1/4] of all games end with a point differential of 3 points or less!
