Im just trying to get insight on how I did.

Not a horrible team. I think you have too many RPS and could use another strikeout pitcher (SP) in place of all of those RPs.

You have something to work with though. I would try to upgrade Derek Lee and maybe either Hoffman or Garland.

For a 10 team league with those settings, I'd venture to say you're lacking power.
I'd also question if he was drunk while typing.
Guess I don't know how to type. Oh well, but instead of being a smart ### you could have game me some advice on the baseball question and not an english lecture.
And instead of being unbelievably thin-skinned, maybe you could take a joke.
I apoligize if it was a joke. I do get worked up over the dumbest things.

No worries, I apologize if it came across as anything other than a joke.

In any case, I guess you could use another solid arm but it's not a necessity right away. Depending on your ability to work the waiver wire, there will certainly be some available pitching on the WW at some point -- especially in a 10-team league.

Thanks for posting. I'm doing my first draft in about 15 years in a few weeks and like to see the advice given. Not to hijack, but what is the strategy of having a lot of players from one team? Is that not necessarily a bad thing? I see a bunch of Cubs there and would think you'd want some variety.

You from Chicago by any chance pip?

I never worry about taking a bunch of guys from one team. In football it's a bad strategy because each player's success is at least partially dependent on how well those around him do. In baseball, that's not the case as much. Sure a guy might lose a few runs or RBIs if his teammates suck, and his HRs will drop if he has no lineup protection...but for the most part if a guy is talented he'll put up his numbers either way.

Yes, I'm for Chicago. So first and foremost Im a Cubs fan and the reason I never played Fantasy Baseball is because I dont want to be rooting for any Cub players to do bad so I tried to draft as many as possible. When I play Fanstasy Football I can't help but root against my Bears players if Im going against some in the FF league. But again the FF league is a pretty big money league and I become more a of a Fantasy Football fan than a Bears fan and I dont want that to happen in baseball too.

THIS! In smaller leagues, the owners who do the best work on the waiver wire (especially pitching wise) are usually the guys competing in August.
