How good is Javon Ringer? (1 Viewer)

He's getting a decent amount of snaps spelling CJ2. Should CJ2 go down, what kind of production could you see this kid get? Should folks be handcuffing CJ2 with him? Or would production be down it would be better just to leave the slot open for WW guys like Woodhead, Ward, Starks, etc.? Just trying to gauge his value.

Production would definitely be a step down from CJ, but Ringer would still make a nice top 15 back if he were to receive the role.

Ringer & Snelling are the only handcuffs I see that would immediately get 75% of the RB work if the starter went down.

I very highly doubt Ringer would put up RB1 numbers, but he'd probably be useful as a RB2. If I owned CJ, I'd much rather have Ringer than a WW dork who only gets spot duty on his own team.

re-bold, no he's not. He had 10 carries in a blowout win, otherwise he's at one carry per quarter.Ringer is good-not great. He has a nice little hitch he does that often breaks him free. I have my doubts about it if Ds see it regularly, but even still he is good.

On top of being good-The Titans Oline is very very good. Fisher loves to have em' run, Heimerdinger (of course) does as well. The WRs struggle often offering lower than typical confidence in the passing game.

He would have a lot going for him.

One other point that might be missed-If CJ is hurt, he is the only RB on the roster. Blount (it's assumed) was supposed to go on the practice squad. FB Hall is a typical meh type runner as a FB. If FF is all about opportunity then Ringer would be drowning in it

MBIII

and McGahee tend to disagree. :boxing:

slight high-jack: you think if Felix would be out for a game Choice would get more than 25% of the touches? me, i don't believe in Barber, but i don't believe in the Cowboys' coaches either...back on track: i have Ringer in my dynasty league.

I think he's got Michael Turner written all over him: I got MT in my dynasty league to back up LT, kept him for two years and traded him for gold during his final season at SD.

I think he's looked great in his limited action.
