I don't consider it "hardcore", perhaps a little excessive...

Every year, no longer than 1 week after the season, I start my rankings while it's fresh in my head, and update it every other week or so. By the start of the season, it looks like the following:

- 90 RBs, 120 WR's, 40 QB's, 40 TE's, also listed by PPR rankings

- All players hyperlinked to 1) FBG Player Page and 2) Rotoworld news page

- "My Leagues" page. Everything about all my leagues, from draft tendencies to past trades

- "Stat Central". Every stat I can cram in, from targets to time of possession

Divorce pending....

This sounds like a good idea.Can you share this spreadsheet so I don't have to add in all the hyperlinks myself?

I am so hardcore I tried smuggling fantasy football magazines out of Europe on my last vacation and was caught and thrown in a Turkish prison where I befriended the gentleman that played Cousin Eddie in the National Lampoon movies and attempted to break out multiple times.

During my last breakout attempt a cell mate ratted me out to the guards and I attacked him with my bare hands. I was committed to the sector for the criminally insane where my American girlfriend smuggled 800 cash into a photo album that I found and attempted to bribe the warden with.

When that didn't work we fought and I put his head into a while and dressed up in his prison guard clothing and escaped to Greece where I took a flight home just in time to make my fantasy draft where I completely DOMINATED.

You lost me when you said you went to Hooters Hotel.... on purpose.Other than that, sounds like every Vegas-involved trip I have ever been on.

Hooters actually has a pretty decent draft kit. Went to a bachelor party one year in NY, group of us woke up after a night at the strp clubs and went to hooters to do a draft, they had a draft board put up on the wall for us and stickers of the top 50 players or so. I was stoked

This is how hardcore I am (or stupid):Moved to Vegas with my buddy from NYC in February. My roommate is the commish of my league that he has run for about 7 or 8 years, and has a live draft in South Jersey Sunday before Labor Day (this past Sunday). Rather than disband the league, or attempt an online draft, we simply booked round trip tickets to Philly. This league is worth it, $400 entry fee, 24 teams, winner takes 5 grand.We were booked on a flight leaving at 11:45, and arriving in Philly about 10 a.m. We were running late, dinner at Hooters took forever, and long story short, we missed check-in. It was the last flight for United, so they were gone from the counter.We checked every flight leaving Vegas the rest of the night, trying to connect to Philly before noon. 5 flights left the whole night, 4 of them booked. Last one was Continental, who got us to Houston, and then to Philly at 11:49 the next morning. One problem: Only had first class left, two seats. $1400 later, we had two one-way tickets to Philly, and had to keep the original $350 roundtrip ticket so we could get home from Philly.So we each paid $1000 to attend our draft, and we hadn't even paid the $400 entry fee yet.

I go with stupid.

Can't walk away from maybe $50 worth of food, but willing to buy $1400 for a first class ticket to get to a draft? I'm wagering drunkenness, but can be talked into stupid.

Woah to the team that picks up the guy, who I cut for accepting/promoting disneyland trip too. Football is a teamsport (ie. Im takin team to Six Flags, would lead to spot on my staff, post retirement)

p.s.Im not jokin about the QB (my #1 QB would only start games, only playing a complete game during SB) the scrub to get me there,(red jersey is earned) could be replaced..

Now I wouldnt want too much peer pressure, but if I had a player desiring to holdout, Id cut my FG kicker (savin a roster spot for him) plus that would be my shout-out to Fantasy owners (havin a kicker used as RB, WR whatever) But you have to consider, hes on the chopping block (two weeks tops) trade 4 max return!

heck even if you are a Skins fan, you may want to pray, I dont ever get the job. A three point game is on the HC, Id probably quit in such a situation (might be a bummer to see several yrs undefeated, and to see HC quit over one lost game) That last game would be fun to watch (bank on it)

I don't dare make eye contact and leave the man alone.

As I'm looking through the news I say out Loud "man, I wish somebody would do something about this Ben Tate guy...I really need foster to win this job.".

That weekend, Tate breaks his ankle "on a football play".

Had a standing get together for Eagles' Sunday games at my buddies' house. The wife and I get married on a Saturday in September and people are surprised when we show up to watch the game the next day. On our honeymoon in Mexico, we made sure we found computers so that we could place waiver bids, adjust our rosters, etc. We also caught some games while there.

I don't think this is particularly hardcore. I find it odd when people say they would not have done this.

Waivers on ESPN don't process till 4:30 AM so if you are sitting there for 30 minutes, then yes, that is pretty extreme.
