How many Deuce owners or those with both are going to start Deuce?Deuce is expected to start the game right?
I have both and Deuce has played well..I think as of now I will start Deuce and see what happens. If Deuce stays healthy and Bush doesn't get hurt, I have no problem starting them both during a byeweek if I had to..just my opinion.

I'm starting Bush over Chester Taylor and the two Denver Bells this week. I'm expecting to have this be a RB2 by committee all year based on matchups.

I have him in a 12-team, flex league. He's my RB2 and will be starting this week with Cadillac (RB1) and Droughns (RB3). Never thought I'd have so much interest in a Saints-Browns game. :D

Hmm, I got Shaun Alexander and DeShaun Foster starting ahead of him... Didn't think that many people were going to start him week one. Maybe I should reconsider.

I am definitely going with him. The leagues I have him, both opponents had huge games from Miller and one other player yesterday.

I need a boom/bust game here. Bush is PERFECT for that.

I have him in a flex slot as RB3. I am fully prepared that Bush will have games this year where he will look ordinary or throw up less than 50 combined yards from scrimmage, as well as weeks where he will look as good as expected.

The Saints are in for a long day Sunday...LONG day...but I expect Bush to be very active in the passing game...dump off...in the second half. Bush with a screen or check down versus a passive and or prevent defense is good for some solid yards.

i'm gonna laugh the first time Ted Washington shoves Faine to the side and sits on Bush. :lmao:

but, i'll probably cry the first time one of our LBs is out of position and Bush runs for a 67 yard TD.

Still debating. 14 team league, start 2 RBs, standard FBG scoring (no PPR).

I already started Ronnie Brown.

I'm debating between Bush & Thomas Jones.

I had been planning on starting Gore over Bush and Chester Taylor.

This thread has me second guessing though. No PPR.

Same story here. (Except I'm starting Deshaun Foster instead of Ronnie Brown.)I feel better starting Thomas Jones as my RB2 over Reggie Bush, but my opponent is starting Jones against me in my other league. So I'm thinking about rolling the dice on Bush and hoping that Jones tanks. Which I don't really see happening against GB. :wall:

Seems like lots of folks are ready to go with him in non-PPR leagues, meaning that in PPR leagues he should be a no-brainer.

As I mentioned earlier, I have SJax, McGahee, Westy, Bush, and Maroney in my PPR league. I was originally going with SJax, McG and Westy. But I'm starting to think about dropping either SJax (worries about Davis) or Westy (still worried about his foot injury) to start Bush. I probably won't decide until Sunday before kickoff.

I have him going as my flex / RB3, starting him over Jamal Lewis and Kevin Jones. My opponent is starting Deuce, so I'm hoping that the two more or less cancel each other out. My RB1 and RB2 are Rudi and Frank Gore (I've got a feeling about Gore against the Cards).

Taking the 'wait and see' approach, as I have Rudi and TJ. My league is PPR for WR/TE, .5 PPR for RBs, so I will be starting Fitzgerald, Driver, and Rod Smith there.

Feeling strong with that group and, if he blows up, just gives me more weapons to choose from.

I'm curious to know with all the man-crushes going on for Bush, how many owners are starting him week 1?

If you don't own him, would you start him? If you wouldn't is it because you have better alternatives or because you don't think he's worthy yet and would like to see a few games.

Let's assume it's standard scoring with NO PPR, but points for receiving yards and special teams TDs

What say you? :banned:
I'm starting Bush and benching McAllister...but then again, you already know this, don't you?

If you got him, chances are you paid a high price for him and have to start him.
:D Nope, I had a vey good draft. S. Jackson. R. Bush, R, Droughns, D. Foster, & Lundy. And I didn't do this at the expense of my WR core either. Holt, Driver, Kennsison, Branch, Mike Clayton.I am going to play the matchup game and start Droughns and Foster.

He's starting as my RB1 in the only league I have him in, but it should be noted that this league is a distance heavy league where long TD's are worth substantially more than short TD's. I couldn't pass up Bush in that scoring format, especially not as my 4th pick after P.Manning, M.Harrison, and T.Holt.

We start 2 RBs. I am starting Rudi Johnson as RB1. I have Corey Dillon and Reggie Bush as well. I'm thinking of starting Dillon this week against the Bills. If I do that though, Bush will go off this week. If I start Bush this week, Dillon will go off.

So, I'm thinking of benching Rudi Johnson and starting both Dillon and Bush. :wall:

Whoa...scary man. I picked Rudi over Jackson...have Bush, and Lundy, Hold, Driver, and Kennison are my main 3 WRs...and have Branch and Clayton as backups. Are you sure we weren't separated at birth? Brother...is that you??? :potkettle:

I picked up Bush at 03.08, after getting Steven Jackson and Portis in the first 2 rounds. With Portis likely watching from the sideline week 1, I'm starting Bush as my RB2 behind Jackson. Going up against Cleveland's D, his matchup looks much more favorable than my other RB's. I figure that he'll get plenty of quality touches in the game while Deuce is taking oxygen on the sidelines after outrunning the defense. ;)

Me too. In my 12 team, flex league. I got Rudi, Foster & Dillon starting with Bush & Tatum on the bench. WRs are Holt & Driver. TE is Watson

Thought about starting him, but I want to wait to see exactly how he'll be used in the New Orleans offense. I'm starting Chris Brown over him against a very mediocre Jets defense.

:goodposting: Exact same decision for me. Caddy will get the start alongside C. Brown this week. I really hope I can utilize my McCallister/Bush handcuff with some sense of security later in the year, but for this week, I like the matchup with Brown against the Jets. If NO becomes a true RBBC, I think I'm hosed.

I wouldn't start him, but I'd use him as a change of pace back and line him up at wr from time to time.
He will be all over the field. He'll line up with Deuce an then shift to flanker o end. Think Marshall Faulk a few years ago. He is possiby their best WR.Hand the ball to Deuce Bush breaks out to the other side and Deuce throws it to him with only a few defenders downfield.

I think Deuce would be a good play too, goal line etc....but I got this guy in my dynasty league, 1.01, and I am all caught up in the damned Bush hype, so I want to start him in the first game of what I think is going to be a massive NFL career. He'll probably do nothing and I'll feel like a freakin' mark on Monday.

Good luck Bush owners! (which sounds dirty but is not)

p.s.-this also allows me to start the unlikely political 'team' of Bush and Gore at RB.

Yeah, I had Ronnie Brown as my RB1 this week (NEVER BENCH YOUR STUDS), so we got kind of an Auburn thing going on, I see. ;) I can see Bush getting more and more looks and carries as the season rolls on, but until then, I have Brown/Travis Henry or Fred Taylor/LaBrandon Toefield to pick from, so I can afford to wait a little while for Bush to get his NFL legs if I have to.

Well, I'm putting my money where my mouth is -- I'll be starting Reggie Bush as my RB2 this week. My #1 is Tomlinson, so I feel pretty safe swinging for the fences. My next option would be Dominic Rhodes, but I don't see him as a lock to outperform Bush week 1.

I'm starting him as my RB2 (could also be a Flex, but does it really matter what the position is?). Alexander is my RB1, and I've got Gore at the Flex. Starting Bush over C. Taylor and Lundy.

I'll probably start him every week unless it becomes clear that they aren't using him enough to warrant starting him. My league is also a PPR league and gives points for return yards, so I think this is pretty much a no-brainer.
