How to deal with drafts in keeper leagues (1 Viewer)

I commish a keeper league, and I'm wondering how to deal with the draft next year. We're only keeping 2 players next year, so should I randomize the order or draft based on record? If there were many players I would do record for sure, but with so few, I am wondering.

A lot of the answer to your question will depend on personal preference.

That said, if you are looking for a suggestion, I'd suggest you let teams choose what draft spot they want with an order based on record. So worst record gets to choose his draft spot first, followed by next to worst record, etc.

I've always liked the idea of 3rd-round-reverse in a snake draft, and then let players choose their draft slot (choosing in reverse order from standings).

Are there restrictions one which players can be kept? If not, it should be in inverse order of next years combined adp of the players you are keeping.

Your league doesn't have rules about that already? How many teams make the playoffs? Cash?No Toilet Bowl?
We didn't really plan out anything like that yet. We just got the teams and drafted

No, there aren't. But I remembered something like that, but I didn't remember exactly. So would that be like you combine the ADP of the 2 players you are keeping, and the lowest combined ADP picks first, and the highest ADP picks last? And to other people, it would be really easy to simply make the draft Worst record picks first, and a reverse snake, but I was just thinking that with 2 players only, it doesn't seem very fair to give the worst record first pick because almost everyone is starting with the same caliber of players

You need a toilet bowl to determine draft slots to dissuade people from holding stud yard sales for keepers.

What exactly is a "toilet bowl"? You mean like having the non-playoff teams play along with the championship teams, and the losing teams there get higher picks?

My league is a 12 Team 3 Keeper 0.5 ppr

6 Championship Playoffs

6 in the Toilet Bowl

Week 14 - Division Winners get Bye; remaining 4 face head to head, winners advance to face Div Winners in Week 15

Toilet Bowl Teams face Head-2-Head, Top 3 Advance, bottom 3 are assigned draft slots based on score

Worst = #6, next worst = #5, highest of the losing teams = #4

Week 15 Toilet Bowls run a Winner Take All Highest Score wins #1 Draft spot

Next highest is awarded #2 draft spot, and the lowest of the 3 gets #3 spot

We run Reverse Serpentine draft

We do NBA lottery typed based on finish.

Last place team gets 12 pieces of paper, 1st place gets 1 piece. Then draw for order
