He was just dropped in our league. I tried to pick him up, but my WW priority was too low. I am thinking about making an offer to the guy who just picked him up. He needs a closer and I was thinking of offering him M.Gonzalez to see if he bites. BUT...is Pence losing value now that he is in the 6th hole?

My current OF: McLouth, Victorino, Rios, Ibanez, Hawpe

My current closers: Soria, Capps, Lidge, Sherrill, Gonzalez

Sure, he has lost some value, but he's still worth Gonzalez easily. I would think he would be a regular in the outfield that you list and Gonzalez is probably your 5th best closer. Worth a shot.

I traded pence and dustin padroia for Roy Halladay and Howie Kendrick. I would have done it if he didn't offer Kendrick.

Not too crazy about him. Reminds me too much of Jeff Francouer. That being said he was just dropped in my keeper league and Ill probably pick him up.
