How will SEA use Lynch today? (1 Viewer)

I haven’t been able to find anything on how Seattle is going to use Lynch today. Is he going to start, get 10, 15, 20 touches? Any inside info would be appriated.

From Pete Carroll's comments earlier in the week, i am expecting 15-20 carries.

Tough match up against Chicago though. If you have other options you might want to wait a week. His matchups get much better after the Bears.

Well at least you got 1 guy with something useful to say. The rest must be from Yahoo free leagues

Temper expectations. Tough matchup, and the O-line is still a work in progress (but improving IMO). If I "had" to start a Seahawk RB today, it would be Lynch.

Seriously, 4 sarcastic replies all echoing the same unimaginative and un-funny sentiment. Way to contribute. If you're to believe Carroll's comments above, he'll get a full load. He's run well lately and Chicago's run D has been sporadic:20 yds/ 2Tds to Best Wk119rsh/37yds to the anemic Cowboys Wk213rsh/43yds to the equally poor Packers game Wk3129 and a TD to Bradshaw Wk4DeAngelo looked good in very limited carries in Wk5All depends on your other options, I guess.

Question: Why don't people try the 'search' function?

There are more than a few Lynch threads already discussing this very topic.

Lazy posting IMO.

"Believe Pete Carroll when he says that he’ll feed the Beast. Marshawn Lynch is a chess piece the Seahawks desperately need. The team is last in 1st down rushes and is 30th in rushes per game. Lynch is picking up 4.5 YPC on 1st downs and 4.3 YPC on 2nd downs compared to 4.0 and 2.4 for Forsett on those downs, respectively. With Lynch, Seattle gives the opposing defense someone to take seriously in typical run down situations. The expectation is that he’ll see 15-20 touches out of the gate against the Bears, and they will come with the added benefit of a fully healthy Seahawks O-line for the first time this season. There’s no doubt that it will be a tough row to hoe in Chicago, but the Monsters of the Midway have allowed 5.0 YPC in their last three games and run-stuffing LB Lance Briggs(notes) is dealing with an ankle injury and he’s an iffy bet to play in this one. I have Lynch ranked at No. 17 among RBs. In standard scoring leagues, the No. 17 RB has consistently netted 10-12 points in previous weeks. That’s 60 yards and a TD. Yeah, Lynch can do that. "
