My cousin is talking about buying a $100K digger and going into business with his friend who has 30 years of operating similar machines. He called and asked me for some advice and I was only able to give him general advice as I have no direct experience in this type of business. I basically suggested that before they split any revenue, they need to cover operating expenses.
After expenses, one share is going to paying off the digger, and then each of them will get a share. How would you suggest splitting the pie between those three shares?
