11 Targets

10 catches

146 Yards

1 TD

Earning that money Miles!

And before anybody mentions it, NO, Dez Bryant's 12 targets does not scare me off.

I would say that Chad Ochocinco, Roddy White, and Hakeem Nicks among others may have something to say about that.

He was not the only highly-regarded WR to have a nice day (or even the best...)

In all seriousness though.

This game was a VERY BIG statement for Miles Austin. Granted, I know it is only one week, but this is just one step in the right direction of disproving the haters and proving that he deserves his contract.

He's started up right where he left off last year. Even in a game where the Cowboys only managed to put up 7 points, Austin still netted 30 points in my PPR league. Now imagine what this guy can do on days where the offense is clicking better and put up 35+.

This next matchup with the Bears is money in the bank for Austin. The Bears just don't have the personnel to stop Austin.

I have him...so last night was really the first time I watched him in the last 2 years very closely.

I'm impressed. He doesn't seem as big as listed (6'3"?)...but obviously runs good routes and has Romo's confidence. I know a lot of his plays last season were busted coverage or tackles where he turned a 15-yard pass into a 50-yarder...which isn't likely to repeat...but over 16 games being the clear #1 in this offense is going to be good.
