Vernand Morency will be slowly worked into the Packers' offense at the start of the regular season.

"When he does play I won't look for him to play every snap," coach Mike McCarthy says. "We'll use him as a role player and be smart with him." It looks like Morency has no chance of starting. He may help on third downs.

So Jackson will get the start because Morency isn't completely ready yet. No big news here. However, it is encouraging to see Morency's recovery finally progressing...

I say he would have gotten the start even if Morency had been healthy . I mean Morency was starting last season due to injuries, he was nt expected to start this year that s why they got Jackson in the second round , No big news here .

I hope he surprises us all and does great. Who knows, as he gets into the flow of the regular season, maybe he takes off. That would be nice and would really help take some pressure off of Favre.
