I have a strange feeling about Joe McKnight in week 5 (1 Viewer)

This is completely 100% a feeling and likely wrong lol

But Rex Ryan is just fuming about his running game. He also knows that he ain't winning today if he tries to match the pats through the air. He knows he will need to control the ball with a powerful and effective running game.

If shonn greene struggles early I think we can see McKnight get his chance to shine. If he does greene will very likely go to a backup role and voila: the waiver wire add of the year would be joe McKnight, an explosive runner on a run first offense.

It's just A hunch but I picked up mknight in 2 of my leagues this morning as a speculative, preemptive add. if he blows up this week it will be too late.

If McKnight is on your wire and you have a spot to spare, take a shot why not?

The last thing you want to do with a bad secondary and no pass rush is pass the ball.

Agree that this is an important game for Shonn Greene - McKnight is not a between the tackles kind of runner the Jets would lean on.

I am interested to see if Bilal Powell is active this week.

I could kiss you. You have a "strange feeling about Joe McKnight"? Well I have a wild boner for McKnight. He'll be the number 1 waiver pick up after today. Watch him dominate today and think about my wild Mc-Boner.S.W.

He's available in all my leagues... I have Powell in one, but am intrigued by McKnight. Maybe not a between-the-tackles prototype guy, but he could be a sparkplug for that awful rushing attack.... Not sure what to do here... Sigh

I own Powell in my dynasty leagues and I agree that he is likely a better bw the tackles runner. Knowing how Rex Ryan works, though, he will probably want to give McKnight a legit shot at doing something before Powell as McKnight has been waiiting loner and has been impressing in other phases of the game showing he is hungry.

All this is predicate on shonn greene faltering again tidy which is a high likelihood. I did read somewhere that Ryan said he plans on giving McKnight a few carries this week to see what he does with them.

I have a strange feeling that this thread will be bumped after tonight just to laugh at all the clowns who posted

Thanks D.M. McKnight is like viagra to me. The weird thing is that the MOP-Man is avoiding McKight instead of exploiting him. I'm usually on the same page as the MOP-Man, but now I'm starting to wonder about him.

S.W.
