23rd year, league of record, fairly high stakes. Experienced players.
4-4, 2nd place division, 2nd highest scorer, 12 team, standard .5ppr, should make playoffs.
Mandatory 2 person 1yr keeper no draft penalty for round. (Breece and Bijan so I can’t keep them again)
1Q, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1WrTe, K&Def

I just can’t figure out what to do with this team. I am happy with it and built it this way for a reason but I love to trade and change but just can’t seem to think of anything for this particular team.

I need other peoples ideas! Comments, Questions… What ya got?

Pay attention to keepers! They are huge in this league.

I"m not really familiar with most of these players so I'm not sure if you want my advice..lol

I think your team is pretty solid. Not sure if I"d make changes for the sake of making changes.

Make the playoffs and you should have a deep run.
Your qb and rb's can carry you.
If Aaron keeps finding Wilson and Harrison has found his way you will be a tough out for sure.
Nice depth all around. If it was my team I'm standing pat,playing out the season and looking forward to the playoffs
Obviously next year you'll have decisions at rb with the two you can't keep
But that's next year which isn't promised to any of us.

I agree but I was hoping someone else saw something I don’t.

I can’t really do anything until after the RBs bye weeks.

Who are you thinking of trading and for what? Not sure you have the bench to trade anyone that would improve your starters

Hard to make an informed suggestion when we have no idea what trade options are out there (meaning other teams roosters).

In essence your biggest weakness is WR depth. It would be nice to improve some consistency. Tillman and MHJ could be issues as they aren't proven.

Their situations don’t really matter, just assume anything….. it’s more what could I trade away to improve the over all team? Every trade I think of can fix a starter but cost me a starter so they’re all washes. Normal years in this situation I would over trade to get what I want but this team isn’t really built for that anymore.

WR depth is my worry too but I have no good way to pull off a trade. I choose right grabbing Otton on Ferguson’s bye but dropped Shikir to do it. The move helped win 2 weeks in a row so it was worth it, it just hurt my WR depth even more. Hoping they benched Watson I grabed Tillman after the Cooper trade so that helped. In retrospect I should have just dropped Ferguson and kept Shikir but at the time (before the Bucs injuries) Ferguson was easily the better TE option.

Only possible trade given your bench would be to package a TE with a WR to upgrade at WR but it would be a tough sell. The small improvement you'd possibly gain at WR wouldn't be worth the sacrifice of depth. Be active on the waiver wire. Churn the bottom of your roster and hope to hit on somebody

I was thinking of trading Ferguson and someone but my over thinking brain…. Will that trade hurt me on the bye weeks? I also can’t trade Wilson or Harrison jr. I need them next year. That leaves Johnson or Tillman. I don’t think I can get something worth it for them. I know I’m not getting anything for my RBs and I can’t trade Breece or Bijan the way this team is built if it still looks like I’m making the playoffs.

Waiver wire is toast until injuries happen then it is expensive. Hell look at my bench I have 3 backup RBs and can’t let them go or they would be gone. Only positions that are “decent” to grab are 3rd tier QBs and a bye week Def or K if ya get lucky.

Thanks for responding to my thread. Looking at your team the only weakness I see is QB. No, Daniels is just fine - so long as he is healthy. if you lose him you lose in the playoffs IMO.

I confess I do not understand all the ins and outs of keeper leagues so no direct ideas but maybe there is something on the WW that is a better backup to Lawrence. But then I'm an anti-Lawrence fan and might not be any real logic to it.

I’m not a fan of him either I had Richardson and had to make a move. He’s the best out there that didn’t have a bye week 14 (Daniels bye) plus he plays Tenn that week so if Daniels stays healthy it’s a decent play. If Daniels goes down I stream QB. Because this league devours RBs and WRs so quickly streamable coin flip QBs are there ya just gotta pick the right one.

Trade Otten and WR. Fergy already had his bye so you don't need two TE's that way. Plus Otton may get you a better return at this point and it's no guarantee he is much better than Fergy going forward.

It's tough to throw out targets because I don't know if there is a TE needy team that a TE/WR for WR upgrade makes sense. You can't craft trades in a vacuum. The trade partner roster needs is probably the most important known thing to making reasonable trade offers.

Thanks. Wasn’t really thinking something as obvious as trading Otton. That’s what my brain needed. I get what you mean about the other teams but I was more just looking for ideas. I already write too much, if I throw out scenarios I’ll go on forever. lol.
