I have MJD as my second RB and i'm wondering if i should be worried with a healthy Fred Taylor. Could fast freddie end up with most of the rb duties? I didn't have MJD last year so im not sure how it went for him last season.

If Taylor gets most of the work, I could be in for a long season

Thanks.

This has been debated ad nauseum, but the short answer is yes. When Taylor is healthy he will have the far greater number of carries. Just look at last season, when he was healthy.Does that mean MJD won't put up decent numbers? No. Because he's actually better when he's splitting time than when he carries the load.

He just shouldn't be your #1 RB. (Maybe not your #2 either)

As a FT owner this year and a MJD owner last year, I'm glad I got FT in regards to their respective ADP. Didn't like MJD as the 14th overall RB ... to many unknown variables.

I agree with the concern as well....he only averaged 2.8 per carry in the preseason, (yeah i know its preseason), but more importantly in my league...he didn't register any return yards either...where we award those...

maybe someone stole his mojo?

I still disagree with this. The more productive back will get the most touches. It was MJD last year, and if it is him again, he will have more touches. No coach wants to get himself fired by feeding his less productive back. That said, Fred is still going to touch the ball plenty. But, I firmly believe that the season will start out @ 55% MJD and 45% Taylor. By the end of the year, I expect it to be more in MJD's favor as it continues to become more apparent that he is more effective.
