I need a pic of JJ crying last night (1 Viewer)

Have you ever played a sport in your life?

The guy had a great career and it ended last night, do you expect him to be jumping up and down and ####### laughing?

LSU beat them, I give all the credit to them and am not taking the lose as a sore loser, but show some class.
I agree with you and I don't like Duke at all. Making fun of some kid who really cared about winning is pathetic.

The third time, it was Temple who stifled Redick. "I was just trying to get a hand in his face and contest all his shots, or make him pass the ball back out," the freshman said. "I'm a defensive player. This is what I live for." Temple could tell that Redick was getting frustrated as one shot after another failed to find the net. "When he missed it, he was pretty upset," Temple said. "He was complaining to the referees about not calling fouls."
Stay classy, Durham.

So who do we have as the ALL CRY TEAM?

JJ Redick

Adam Morrison

Hines Ward

Wade Boggs

who else?
William Avery. Not only was he crying, but crying while being held and carressed by Coach K no less.

Thomas Hill, another Dookie.

They constantly show the clip of him holding his head, crying after Laettner hit the shot to beat Kentucky in '92. Woman.

Wasn't that Chris Carawell?
Might have happened with Carawell too, and I think it did, but I know this happened with Avery.

Old school - Matt Doherty was crying before the game was even over when UNC lost to Indiana in the 1984(5?) NCAAs.

Plus, he cried like a baby when he got hired at Notre Dame. Can he be Vermeil's associate head coach?

Redick, Hill, Lang, Avery, Carawell, etc.. So basically there's something about playing for Coach K that brings out the emotion in his players after they lose their last game of their career at Duke. I can respect that - but still, the whole crying thing on TV is kinda not manly.

I can't believe I'm doing this, but Redick has nothing to apologize for. It's not like he was sobbing ala Morrison. He played poorly in his final college game - anyone that is such a huge part of his team would likely react similarly.

What about that kicker for the Cowboys from a few years ago who was outright bawling when reporters interviewed him after he got cut from the team after a horrible performance? Who was that?

To reference a response to one of my earlier posts, I hate to burst your bubble, but it's not just Duke players. You have guys on lots of teams crying after they lose in the tournament.

Shouldn't he apologize to his teammates for letting them down in the NCAA's?Again?
