Let's look at it a different way in the Brown vs Turner debate.Brown plays on field goals, points after, and kickoffs. I believe Turner also plays on special teams (although I'm not sure). So on a per play basis, Brown plays maybe 5 plays a game of note (the kicks for points). On a per play basis, Brown's salary would factor out to like $20+ million if he played as much as other positional players. And he rarely gets hit or has to tackle anyone, so IMO it's a pretty sweet deal. Obviously he can win or lose games with a single attempt so the pressure is there, but the amount he plays and lack of physical pounding still is relatively minimal.
