I think this might be the big splash that Jerry Jones was talking abou (1 Viewer)

I guess if you look close enough Dallas has did allot with their cap money. Just not what everyone else perceives as a good off season.

Please tell me that grammar was a joke, right? :X
There are some very smart people who use poor grammar. I find I can learn more from these people if I focus my attention on the substance of what they write and not on the packaging.

I agree C.P., but that sentence is Emmitt Smith worthy.

Good article and summary of the 'boys offseason efforts. Thanks for the link.
Clearing up cap space with 2 1st round picks makes sense, but what are the chances they still trade up into the early 1st if who they want is still available at a reasonable trade/price?

I still think there is a trade for a wr out there for Dallas. I for one am glad they did not go out into the wr fa market and mortgage the future. There are two wr's out there worth signing to a big deal in a trade and both could be had. (Roy Williams and Larry Fitzgerald). Either one of them would be great because they are still young, yet have produced before. We got 2 #1 picks and need to get some wr help along with corner help. We can draft a corner but a wr is a crap shoot so go get one of them Dallas.

 Poor Grammar: Only exists when one party speaking or writing a common language is unintelligible to the other. The rules of Grammar are reserved for the Elite of society so that they may make conversation and sound as smart as their bank accounts are large. Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is the 4th most common mental health problem in the west, such common symptoms include arraigning and re-arraigning and impulsive grammar correction of others speech and or writing.

Just hit the edit button.

Tee Hee!!I lived in Walnut Creek for 5 years on Sierra LN, Just around the corner from Safeway and the large outdoor mall. Love that place, little expensive. Tried to eat at P F Chang’s several times but it was always too crowded. To the Cowboys, I think they are doing the right thing and not going ape over free agents. Real poor market and a little over priced.

Makes me feel safer reading these boards knowing the grammer police is patrolling. You are so smart.
 Wow, that's some high horse you are up on. Come on down, and read a few posts later, where I reference it to a joke from a slow day of news/transactions, and a little dig in a correlation to Emmitt and his speech.

Sense of humor:

The splash has yet to hit the water.

Stay tuned (to the Cowboys Offseason Thread).
Are you eluding to the L.Fitz to Dallas rumor??? Does it even carry any truth, or just message board material??
Should we tell him? :goodposting: Sorry, GB. I just had to post. This thread has gone to hell in a handbasket anyway.
Yay, someone pays attention and can give it back...TY! :goodposting: (allude is correct, but when people get cranky over something like a little ribbing, why not just keep it going at times?)

Larry Fitzgerald. The Lions' Roy Williams. Take your pick.Weeks ago when I first brought them up, everybody scoffed, at least most of them. However, as news continues to develop, the possibility increases. We'll see...

What would Dallas need to give Az. to get Fitz.? I don't see the Williams trade happening, we all know M.M. loves his WR's, but with Boldin still in Az. the Fitz rumor sounds plausable.

Mike Martz is lonnngggg gone, my friend. You can't mean Matt Millen. He just kept drafting receivers because he struck out on Charles Rogers and Mike Williams. The Lions are turning their focus more towards the running game, and with Johnson, McDonald and Furrey they have a very capable receiving corp. It's get something for Williams now, or watch him walk and get nothing this time next year. What would YOU do?

I indeed meant Millen. And while Marinelli and his staff may want to become more of a running team, the best way to do that is to have WR's who can make the D play honest and not load up in the box. Johnson and Furrey are quite capable, but I am still not sold on McDonald. I think Williams and Johnson, with Furrey in the slot is one of the better tendems in the league and if they are willing to pay up to keep Williams, I don't see why he wouldn't stay. But agreed that if they know he will walk once he is an UFA, then the smart move is to get something for him while you can and his value is still high.I just ask, because I have not read any articles that mention this as a possibilty, it just seems to be message board fodder at this time. Though, to be honest I am not really searching too hard for Det. news, cause in all reality, outside of Fantasy value, I could care less.

Good stuff. I'd guess they still can trade those two first rounders for a chance at McFadden, but would rather see them get a top CB and WR there. And PLEASE stop with the grammar crap. If you understood the post, then you walk away with some information. I am sure there's a 'pinkies up' forum for you Mr. Manners guys.
