Youre assuming a lot of risk that one of your backs pans out and cooks pans out. You definately need an upgrade at wr and I think you have rb ammo to do it, but I'm not sure this is the trade you're looking for.

What I was trying to say is too many good ones. Instead of cook or Abdullah should have taken a wr there. RB later. Too many good RB, not the total number.

I'm always assuming it's dynasty. I forget it's redraft season. In ppr wright and theilen could be decent, but I suppose I'd feel better if theilen was wr3 and wright wr5. I'm a big Kupp supporter, but admit he no sure thing for redraft and could look good for a rookie and still not help your fantasy team. You may be better served waiting a couple weeks when a rb inevitably gets injured and then jump on that team with offers. I think you can maneuver the first couple weeks with Hopkins/ theilen. Starting requirements make a difference, I'm assuming 2rb 2wr flex.
Just to clarify, I'm not saying don't deal Gordon, just not for Cooks.
Keep ADP in mind when considering trades. Just because you were able to draft Gordon in the 2nd doesn't mean he has a 2nd round value. Gordon is a top 8 pick in the majority of 12-team leagues.
Cooks is late 2nd ADP.
IMO you could nab a Michael Thomas, AJ Green, Mike Evans, etc - it's ok to trade Gordon, just be sure to do it for equal value.
I'd rather keep Cook over Gordon. Cook is shaping up to have a stellar year, possible rookie of the year and I do not like Gordon's injury risk. Even with the overall opinion that Gordon is ranked higher you need to make the trade with one of them. You have 4 other solid RB's and really need help at WR.

I think he's ok trading either - I was speaking to value with the Cook comment. Cook = Cooks in trade. Gordon should net him somthing better than Cools.

If he could trade for Green, Nelson or Thomas I would agree but those teams may not have a need to trade. I have Cooks ranked just behind the 3 of them.

If I were trading a first round value running back, I would want to first round value wide receiver in return. And it is possible that some of the teams that went WR – WR are having regrets or are nervous about their lack of depth or strength at running back
I agree though, Nelson Green or Thomas what seem to be fair value for Gordon. If not, I think Crook is equal for cooks.
He's trying to rob you. Gordon is first-round talent, Cooks second. There's a reason you drafted the way you did, so lower WR talent is the by-product. Don't panic now.
Freeman for Cooks would be an equal trade. Anything else is not.
I'd respond with a big fat ROTFLMAO on Hilton. I have Cooks ahead of Hilton. I'm higher on Cooks than most, even was before Edelman went out. I think he is going to be in for a career year if Gronk can stay healthy and keep the defenses honest.
