I am not going to accept, but wanted to discuss what a fair counter might be.

NL only roto league, and I am leading in 4/5 offensive categories (except steals). I need help in WHIP and ERA.

His Outfield:

OF Ryan Braun, Mil OF DTD

OF Jayson Werth, Phi OF 7:

OF Ryan Spilborghs, Col OF

OF Michael Bourn, Hou OF

OF Randy Winn, SF OF 7:

UTIL Dexter Fowler, Col OF

I was thinking of something like:

Werth

Peavy

Valverde

for

Beltran

Pelfrey

Thoughts?

Well, this blew up a little. :goodposting:I offered him the trade I mentioned above. I recognize my deal favored me, but his deal was skewed to him. He came back with the following:

It should make sense to you. I offered the league leader in saves and the league leader in stolen bases (both categories you need) for Beltran (a quality slugger having a mediocre year). Your proposal is ridiculous-- Werth's numbers aren't that much worse than Beltran's and then I'm giving one of the top pitcher's in the league and top closer (when healthy) for Pelfrey. I have an excess of saves and stolen bases so I'll trade you those two (which you need) for a quality slugger (which you have an excess of). Let me know if something works and I'm not giving up any starters.

After I got back from the hawks game and the post-game bar stop, I responded with the following:

you actually have the balls to say the #1 hitter in the NL is having a mediocre year AND compare him in the same sentence to Jason Werth? wtf are you smoking? your offer was beyond ridiculous especially considering that premium hitting trades at a BIG premium to any pitching at any rate, save your outrage and silly offers for the next guy
