I am going to keep this simple because I am an idiot. But I think mankind will always be hindered until there is no monetary system or anything that resembles that.

You and Rousseau. So, you're not an idiot.
I will read his books, thanks. And yes, I stay an idiot.
Same here.

eta* I think most people would send you to his Discourse on Inequality...I remember (long time ago...so beware) that his strongest writing about money was either in the crafting of the Corsican or Polish Constitution, which he was asked to do. Happy traveling. :)

I studied philosophy a lot, but it was all Catholic based and to graduate. It will be fun to explore when I have to and not need to. Are there any current day philosophers?

We had a professor in law school that made me read everything Rousseau ever wrote. Not kidding. For a "jurisprudence" class. So I have no idea. This was a total wheelhouse. I have no idea about modern philosophy. I don't even get Wittgenstein. Too far above my head. I guess there was a book a few years ago that talked about all things free, and how that would be the new economy, but that's the best I can do.
