So does this mean I can read posts from FBG (a blocked site on my work firewall) in a website I create that is not blocked by the firewall?

Yes and no.The RSS feed is set up to display the first post of a new thread. It does not update with additional posts in the thread. In my Google Reader, I can read the entire first post of each new thread. So, you should be able to see new posts but not the entire thread at work.
