I'm wondering if other bloggers do this for their team. If so, please post links and stats here. This is from Mike Reiss ESPN Boston: LINK

LB Jerod Mayo – 78 of 78

CB Devin McCourty – 78 of 78

LB/DE Tully Banta-Cain – 77 of 78

CB Darius Butler – 75 of 78

S Patrick Chung – 74 of 78

S James Sanders – 62 of 78

S Brandon Meriweather – 61 of 78

CB Jonathan Wilhite – 58 of 78

DL Mike Wright – 51 of 78

DL Vince Wilfork – 47 of 78

DL Myron Pryor – 42 of 78

LB Gary Guyton – 29 of 78

LB/DE Rob Ninkovich – 28 of 78

LB/DE Jermaine Cunningham – 26 of 78

DE Gerard Warren – 21 of 78

LB Brandon Spikes – 20 of 78

DL Ron Brace – 18 of 78

LB/DE Marques Murrell – 7 of 78 (cut on Monday)

S Jarrad Page – 5 of 78

WR/S Randy Moss – 1 of 78 (hail mary play @ end of half)

Other notes from game Chung looked so much like Harrison right down to that little "extra" hit at the end of the play. They seemed to be in a LOT of big nickel with 3 Ss and several times with the lead in 2nd half with only one or two DL in a 3 point stance.

If this info is available for each team via a blogger, perhaps we could get some volunteers to gather for their team and post in a shared google doc?

Thoughts? Interest?

Has Banta-Cain always played this many snaps? Or was this an unusual occurrence? I'm trying to evaluate some options at DE.Also, GREAT information!! Especially on Chung in addition to the other details.

No, he hasn't usually gotten this many snaps.

I attribute this to two things:

1) Game - NE was up big early and need to generate some pass rush he is their rush OLB 10 sacks or so last year

2) They don't have anyone else who is proven - actually I question the OLB on the other side. Team seems to be happy with their 2nd round draft pick Cunningham but he missed a LOT of training camp and was a DE not a 5 tech OLB in college.

tbc played something like 600-700 snaps last year, with the snap leaders at around 1000, but that was also when they had adalius, so we'll see if he's just going to soak up those extra snaps.

the pats are actually my team, but here are a couple links:

Redskins Snap Counts-

DEFENSE (75 snaps)

DL: Kedric Golston 28, Vonnie Holliday 34, Albert Haynesworth 17, Phillip Daniels 15, Adam Carriker 34, Ma’ake Kemoeatu 26.

LB: Rocky McIntosh 75, London Fletcher 75, Chris Wilson 1, Lorenzo Alexander 41, Brian Orakpo 71, Andre Carter 68.

CB: Carlos Rogers 73, DeAngelo Hall 75, Kevin Barnes 3, Byron Westbrook 1, Phillip Buchanon 37.

S: LaRon Landry 70, Reed Doughty 75, Chris Horton 5.

• Holliday tied for lead among DL despite not starting and playing only 13 snaps in the first half. He was on the field for the entire 12-play final drive.

• Haynesworth was a non-factor – he played seven snaps in the second half and none on the final drive, which was all passes by the Cowboys. He played a mix of right defensive tackle and nose tackle, but did not see one snap at end.

• On most passing downs, the Redskins played one lineman (Holliday), five linebackers, three cornerbacks and two safeties.

• Landry and Orakpo missed snaps because of cramps.

There is a website that has all of the games played with this exact info, every week. Although the site is slow to get all of the stats out during the week, it really gives you an edge. Unfortunately, my main pc is down and I cannot access my favorites. I can't remember the name of the site. Once I get back up and running, Ill post the link. Some lurking on the boards here probably know what it is, as I originally found the site through this forum.

The site is Pro Football Focus, but they no longer offer those data free.

This is awesome info!! How much is that site?

Would LOVE to see Arizona, Houston, Carolina and Cinci

This is by FAR the best message board for fantasy football, which fits cause Football Guys is like death and taxes, guaranteed !!!!!!

Great information but very pricey. I have not been done wrong with the great defensive minds out here LOL

I just LOVE pouring over stats and that site would be cool to dig deeper, but my old back can't handle the couch and if I paid for that site, my lovely wife would have me there LOL

Good Luck this weekend Gents and thanks for the snap info above

Peace,

Jimmy
