Here is my defensive team. Let me know what you think. We get 2 points per tackle, 10 points per sack and INT, and 5 points per fumble recoveryDLKevin WilliamsRod ColemanRobert MathisLBNick BarnettDerrick BrooksKailee WongDBMichael BoulwareSean JonesThomas davisWhat do you think?

I have to start 6 of them and I have to start at least 1 of each position.I was thinking about starting all three LB, Michael Bouware , and Kevin Williams. I am wondering if my 6th should be DL Rod Coleman or DB Sean Jones. What do you think?

You have an amazing D, especially your LB's and DB's. Given your scoring system, I would also start all three LB's along with K Williams and Boulware. Your remaining players to choose from would be Coleman, Mathis, Jones, and Davis.Given your scoring system, I would most likely start either Jones or Davis over Coleman and Mathis. DL's do not net enough tackles to score well in your system. For example...Let's assume Jones and Davis net 80 tackles and 3 INTs in '05. By no means is this a stretch to achieve. This numbers would translate into a 190 pt season. Coleman and Mathis would have a tough time matching these points.Coleman should net his average of 40+ tackles and 8+ sacks. This would equate to only a 160 pt season. Now...onto Mathis. Even if Mathis matches his better-than-expected '04 totals, he would still only score only 177 pts this year.Go with either Jones or Davis. In all honesty, I would most likely start Davis over Jones. He has a chance of approaching 100+ tackles as the Panthers SS. Jones could be sharing time with Russell, Crocker, and Pool. Romeo has made comments eluding to a committee approach (ala N.E.) at many positions.
