Saints Defense (1 Viewer)

On The Rocks

OK, so this Saints offense is going to be historically bad. I keep scouring for information on a dawg on defense that will consistently get 8-10 solo tackles and 5+ assists per game.
I'm looking at Pete Werner and Julian Blackmon. Is there anyone else that might come out of nowhere and just go scorched earth and be a tackle machine?

Our league is:
Solo Tackel 2 pts
Assist 1 pts
Sack 5 pts
1/2 Sack 2 pts
Int 5 pts
Safety 6 pts
Defensive TD 10 pts

I mean Davis is still there and he should do just fine. I also think Chase Young may have a sneaky good year.

I would have Sanker on speed dial. This team is awful and will quickly turn to youth to see what it has for future

Most effective in the tackle box, Sanker is an outstanding open field tackler expected to bolster a defense that ranked 31st last season against the run. In coverage, Sanker is best as a deep safety in two-deep alignments. With the retirement of Tyrann Mathieu, he'll likely see increased reps with other new additions Justin Reid and Julian Blackmon. Jonas Sanker is expected to be one of the major pieces and young building blocks of a rebuilding New Orleans defense.

I think Werner ends up wearing the dot by thanksgiving and they see if he can handle the load going forward.

Reid might be there longer term than Blackmon but I agree Sanker is the dynasty play here.

This unit is going to be on the field a lot , so the tackle opportunities will be there.
