If Antonio Gates were a WR (1 Viewer)

If you didn't play with a TE slot, which tier of WR's would you place him with? I'm thinking around guys like Evans, Driver, Walker...where would you rank him?

If he actually did play WR, then that would mean he wouldnt have to stay on the line and block half of every game, and would then be thrown a heck of alot more passes. With that in mind, he'd probably be a top 5 WR.

Antonio Gates is one of the top pass catching scorers in the league. His yardage upside is not that high, but the guy can and will put up 10+ TDs. I don't know where he has ranked TD-wise over the past 3 years, but I'd have to guess it's at least top10 and possibly top5 at WR. I'd rank him somewhere around WR#10-15 in a no-TE system.
