I know I'm new to FBB, but I know that Texas is in the AL. If an NL player gets traded to an AL team mid-season, that player can be used in NL only leagues for the remainder of the year. Right now, he's listed as a Brewer and is available as an FA in my league --no AL players are available. So if Sheets signs with an AL team, does his eligibility in NL only leagues immediately end?
The rule in most leagues would be if you signed him while he was a FA you would Automatically lose him if he signs with the other league.
Two other points though before you waste a roster spot on Sheets:
1) He won't sign with anyone until June 10 at the earliest (otherwise it would cost the signing team a draft pick in the 6/9 Amateur draft)
2) He isn't even throwing yet and will not likely contribute much of anything to any team this year..........best case is he might be able to pitch in August...........and that isn't likely
