If the NFL draft were today (1 Viewer)

Quarterbacks would have still gone LuckRG3TannehillthenWilsonWeedenFoles
I doubt Denver would have taken Weeden or Foles over Osweiler in the 2nd. Their plan appeared to be get a young raw QB with the most upside to groom behind PMFM...and from the sond of it Elway is still very happy w/ the Os pick. Not all picks are made with the immediate future in mind. I think Os would still go ahead of Foles and if Weeden had fallen because Cleveland took Wilson I bet Denver would pass on him for Osweiler too.

Ya, I agree about Luck. He definitely would've moved up if it were today.

It's ludicrous that he fell to the 3rd round. That's what happens when you get multiple domestic charges.

Who would move up?I have QB's LuckRussell WilsonRG3You?
Actually kind of a weird question. You only move Russell up because you have now seen what he has done in NFL preseason games with Seattle, which he couldn't have done yet if the draft were today. Now, if the draft were just moved from April to August and the players were still home waiting for the call, I imagine very little would have changed in terms of draft expectations. You can't use the benefit of post-draft hindsight, re-arranging your draft order using info that could only be obtained after the draft has taken place. Makes no sense.

Bruce, you really dropped a high fiber steamer all over the OP's thread. Loose stool all over the walls of this place.Yet, you neglected to tell us if Luck would have moved up in the draft or not!

Of course elway's going to say he's happy w/ Os. But sometimes scouts miss guys and that seems to be what happened w/ both Foles and Wilson. From Rotoworld: Foles has shown more in three games than Kafka has in two years. The third-rounder has earned praise from teammates and coaches for his poise, aggressiveness, accuracy and game management. One teammate suggested Foles has "times of greatness, really" while another said he can "make every throw" and is capable of repeatedly hitting the pylon from 60 yards out. Foles' emergence is quality insurance for the values of Jeremy Maclin and DeSean Jackson should Michael Vick go down in the regular season.
