if you get Marshall set your sights on Muhammad in the 12th-13th round- As Steve Smith serves his two game suspension, Mushin will be the starter. To help his case even further, Hackett is hurt. When Smith comes back Muhammad should still be the starter as Hackett will be playing the slot.

if you get Steve Smith set your sights on Eddie Royal in the 15th round- As Brandon Marshall serves his two game suspension, Eddie will be the starter.

Once Marshall comes back Eddie is still starting opposite him.

both WR's are perfect complements to 'fill-in' as Marshall & Smith sit out their two games-

Conventional wisdom says you probably have a better WR to put in their place but if not this would be a great backup plan.

Having Marshall as an RFA, I was wondering what I could do about those two weeks. This would be a great idea if I didn't live in Chicagoland and had my opinion of Muhammed thoroughly soiled over the last two seasons.

I'd also consider grabbing Joey Galloway or Sidney Rice for those two weeks. Really nice match-ups.

That's what I did in my FFOC draft yesterday. We'll see if it pays off...

Hackett is hurt now, but there is a good possibility he will be fine for game 1. Game one is three weeks away. It also has not been determined who will be #2 when Smith comes back for game 3.

Marshall was slapped with a three-game ban because of violating the NFL's Personal Conduct Policy and Smith was levied a two-game suspension by the Panthers for punching a teammate during a training camp drill.Neither guy is a Boy Scout, but they sure can play ball. And there's nothing stopping either player from doing so once they serve their suspensions. They aren't hurt, they aren't on offenses lacking a quarterback and they are both premier players who will see plenty of passes thrown their way.The lone, but major, drawback to drafting either receiver is that you'll have to pick another receiver to get their reps while they sit out. If you end up drafting Smith or Marshall, pick a receiver from above to count on starting in his place. Then, once your starter's suspension is over, you could either keep the fill-in wideout or cut him for a player you've had your eye on sitting on the waiver wire.Smith and Marshall's Fantasy stock has taken a hit, so you can find them about a round later in drafts than you normally would. That's excellent value for No. 1 Fantasy wideouts, so much so that it's worth thinking about drafting one or both -- if you're willing to make the commitment to them by drafting more receivers later on. Let the depth of roster space in your league determine that.

These guys are tremendous value. In my 3 team keeper league draft last night, I picked up Marshall at 3.09 (So with keepers actually 6.09). Smith went at 2.10. So I picked up Marshall as my 3rd WR (Colston, Houshy) with the next to last pick of the 6th round and that is great value for a top 20WR.

I will have to start Reggie Brown or Javon Walker for the first few weeks, but I think I can get by. I will pick up Royal if I don't think these guys will work out early.

Great Value wait and jump all over these two recievers in the 5th round!
