7 Roy Williams

8 Andre Johnson

9 Randy Moss

Then Gates?

Right now in my PPR league there are only 6 WR's ahead of him.

I'dd add Walker & Housh ahead of Gates, so I'd say about #12 for Gates.

You could make a case for Driver or Plaxico as well.

I'd put him somewhere in the 12-15 range, and expect him to be more consistent than others immediately above or below him.

I don't think he has the upside of a Larry Fitzgerald or TJ Housh, but he should be better than folks like Boldin or Driver.

I just traded for him yesterday in a league that doesn't require TE's - I might have given up too much, but hopefully not by a wide margin.

I had to give up Adrian Peterson (Min) to get Gates and Michael Turner (Turner will be keeper eligible next year for the cost of a 7th round pick, Peterson and Gates are not keeper eligible).

my dynasty league TEs are the same position as WRs. For that past 3 years Gates has be ranked around 9 to 18 with the WRs. I think he will finish around 8 to 10 this year. SD seems to feature him in the passing game

this year, after 2 weeks he is tied for 10th
