If you have an auction draft today (1 Viewer)

How much emphasis do you put on getting Manning/Wayne/Harrison/Addai versus Brees/Colston/Bush/McAllister?

Who goes up, and who goes down? Or do they all more or less stay the same?

I'd personally be willing to pay an extra percent or two of cap for the Indy players. A guaranteed win in week 1 from big performances is nothing to sneeze at. (1/13th of the way into the playoffs!)

And, as it just so happens, we're also trying to fill a FBG last minute auction league drafting tonight 9pm EST. Have 8 FBG so far, I figure a final advert. in the shark pool should push us to 12 since I know we're not the only hopeless addicts out there! http://forums.footballguys.com/forum/index...howtopic=338402

I would keep auction values for Manning, Harrison, and Wayne the same.

I'd bump up Addai a little bit.

I'd keep Brees and Colston the same.

I'd bump Bush and McAllister down a little bit.

And we're at 9 people! Almost a 10-person league, and the more the merrier!

I drafted last night and got a 10% discount on Bush based I'm sure on his poor performance Thursday. Conversely, Wayne and Manning's values got pumped up a bit and I did not wish to overpay.

Try to sneak in the Indy D early. If you get them for the minimum bid, great - take the week 1 points and drop them later if they come back to earth and get another D off waivers. If not, it's still great because somebody will then overpay.

Something else to consider if you're in an auction tonight. Assuming your schedule is already set you should pay attention to who you play each week and factor that in somewhat as the auction proceeds. i.e. if the guy you play wk1 has the top bid on Indy Def it just might make sense to bid that extra $1 to either win them yourself and/or hope they go to someone else.

:lmao: can also follow this advice when your opponent is bidding on the Indy skill players, if you were targeting them anywayEDIT: We could still use more FBG for the league. drafting in under 2 hours! link in OP
