I believe he's suggesting that the Bears should not hold the Title of Champion yet, but the media keeps crowning them the Kings of the NFL. He's saying that they didn't deserve their victory tonight, but the media is still calling them a team of champs.

I would be fit to be tied also.

Your team kicks ### all night long and you still manage to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

the Cardinals lightened up the pressre just a bit and the Bears took advantage. Frustrating!

Let me preface this by saying that I don't think Denny is one of the better coaches in the NFL...I don't think he's the worst either (art shell). But I legitimately felt bad for him when I heard that press conf.

I felt that 'Zona did everything they could last night. They played their hearts out and it was obvious that when the Bears got some life the Cards had that deer in the headlights look...and I don't think it's hard to understand why.

How many players on the Cards do you think REALLY thought they had a chance? Seriously? Up 20 points with 16 minutes to play....this was basically their Super Bowl. Denny knew that as well. NOBODY expected Edge to cough up the ball like that. And I'll bet when he did there was a real feeling of "UH OH" on the 'Zona sideline.

Lack of discipline killed them...all the penalties is all the proof you need. That's where coaching comes in. But despite all that you got to see Leinart really take control of the offense and the Defense was inpired. Denny made a few bad choices...but in the end overall talent on defense won out. Hard to stomach though if I was the head coach. I'm sure he didn't sleep at all last night and he's going to get hammered for weeks over this. Heck, it may even cost him his job at the end of the season.

Nobody blocks for Edge. The Bears will be crowned at the end of the and Denny can cry about how his best victory was a loss as he's shown the door.

I didn't. Despite the collapse, they were still in position to win the game at the end, but the horrible play-calling did them in. They were inside the 25, with 2nd and 3, and 2 timeouts left with around 50 seconds or so left, and what do they do? Run James into the line twice! Leinart was finding receivers open all day, and on that drive, too, so to assume being inside the 25 is good enough and that James would get a first down when the running game was horrible from the second quarter on was terrible play-calling. They deserved to lose, for that reason alone.

I only have one question....

How in the heck did Rackers miss that field goal. He was the biggest choker on the field last night.

LOL at anyone who thought that commercial where he bangs kicks off of the uprights was legit.

i also felt bad for arizona, but that press conference with denny had me rolling. he looked PISSED. if you haven't seen it yet, make sure you watch espn this week, they'll show it.

NOBODY expected Edge to cough up the ball like that.
Watching Edge run upright again and again into the pile made me think he might cough it up. I've also thought at times when the ball didn't come loose.
I don't think you can call Edge's fumble, "coughing up the ball". The Bears stood him up and deliberately stripped the ball from him. Not saying it wasn't his fault...

"Sometimes you get to eat the dog and sometimes the dog gets to eat you.""Nobody plays like we play when we play.""There were two teams that wanted to win very badly, and when that happens, only one will win...if we should ever meet again...we'll take 'em"I  denny.

I guess this is the difference between having Neil Rackers and having John Carney.
Yeah, but Carney blew an extra point in the last game of the 2003 season to keep the Saints out of the playoffs. This was the XP after the "River City Relay".Making pressure kicks is really hard. Ghost is right -- Rackers could've used 10 more yards so that he'd have more margin of error.

I'd like to see this presser used somehow by the folks in the Coors Light ad department, the way they've used other NFL coach press conferences."Denny, would you agree that Coors Light is the new King of Beers?"

"If you wanna crown 'em, then crown their asses!"

was seriously the greatest soundbite of all time. i cant stop laughing everytime i see it. what i love about his tirade is that it didnt answer the reporters question at all from what i understood. i couldnt quite make out what the reporter was saying, but it seemed as if he was complementing green that they played them well. all around hilarious.

Denny didn't expect Rackers to choke on a FG for a second consecutive week. Making the Bears use all their timeouts and giving them 40 sec to drive the field AND set up a FG was the smart play.

Coach, you know the guys carrying the cups in the stands are allowed to sell Coors Light to the players after the game? They are who we all thought they were! THATS WHY WE TAKE THE DAMN FIELD!

racist.

Really? Odd since he was good at staying low when he ran for the Colts. (many since he has so many more people hitting him now he has to look more)

The best part of Denny's interview tirade? After he yells, slams the podium, and storms off, you hear the voice of some frightened reporter "Thanks, coach." :lmao:

I think that was the PR guy, it sounds like he is saying Lienart would be out next or something.

:lmao: :lmao: That's even better. LOL at putting a thankful happy spin on Denny's explosion.

"Coach, how did you feel when you couldn't find your Coors Light before the game?"

"I don't think I've ever been associated with such a loss"

Man, it would be gold if they could do this...
