I'm just not sold on the 9-1 Packers (2 Viewers)

As a bear fan it pains me to see them playing this well but the real reason why I see them winning is due to the wide receiving core (and of course Farvra's ability to hit them in stride).. I like jennings, he has really come on for them - outside of that Donald Lee is catching a lot of balls, Driver is playing well, and they have a decent James Jones that can catch as well (but holding on to it has been his problem).

The defense is not that good..
Quite incorrect. Good corners. Fast linebackers. Loaded D line. This defense is good and improving. Very young.
The D is #12 in the NFL. #19 vs. the pass #8 vs. the run. So statistically they are good not great. I think their front 7 is good, but their secondary is questionable. I think how the secondary plays vs. Detroit & Dallas back to back will go a long way to forecasting how they end the season.
You're going by yardage. Everybody knows that's not a good way of determining defensive strength. In the most important defensive stat which is obviously points allowed they're ranked 4th.
ok then - since its obvious to you that everyone knows points allowed is how they should be viewed.. It is points allowed against poor teams no matter how you slice this..The combined record of the teams they have played is 47 - 54... Look at the offenses below and tell me you really believe they have played good teams with avg or better offenses?

philly 5-5

Giants 7-3 (played them in week 2 when the giants were lost)

Chargers 5-5

Vikings 4-6

Bears 4-6 (and the bears beat them)

Redskins 5-5

Broncos 5-5

Chiefs 4-6

Vikings 4-6

Panthers 4-6
 Taking advantage of a weak schedule and will be exposed soon?????
:lmao: That's just the way the NFL is now-a-days...full of mediocre and crappy teams. I'm guessing the Cowboys, Giants, Steelers, etc. schedule looks similar if not worse than the Packers.

For all you haters who besides the Patriots, Colts & Cowboys is better than the Packers?
Really - not a hater even though I'm a bears fan.. My point was made about their defense.. Overall they have an above avg team (compared to the entire league) - and since they play in the NFC that places them among the best.. They have a valid shot at the superbowl due to the home field advantage - but to be honest if I was going to bet money against them and they were playing any of the below teams - I would take these teams straight up.NE

Jax

Pit

Sea

SEA? You've got to be joking. They can't win on the road and can only seem to beat the dregs of the NFL. Cleveland is getting better but they don't have a defense that can slow GB down while GB is capable of getting some stops againce CLE. Pittsburgh or JAX could possibly beat GB but they'd better bring their A games, something they haven't done consistently.

Arguements could be made for Jax & Pit but Seattle & Cleveland? Seattle would be a below .500 team if they weren't in the worst division in football and while Cleveland is a nice up & coming team their defense has difficulty stopping a mediocre passing attack. Green Bay would probably put up 50 against those guys.

Need to dig this up so I could add the Bears to this list. :P
