Lande was just on Sirius NFL, and he was just great. He really went into the inner-workings of how team approach the draft, to the level of showing the scouts/mgmt ,etc., a series of names and literally saying if you are asked about these 10 guys, you say "X", and never deviate from the script. In fact, he was also saying that they could not even discuss those players outside of the compound (i.e. two guys getting a slice of pizza together could not chat about it).

I believe it too...about 5 years back I flew through Indy during the combine, and while my family was waiting for our connection at the food court, I looked up and saw some scouts hovered around a couple of laptops, chatting, etc. I walked up to them (it was Houston, no big names in the group) and asked them how ADP looked, and they were horrified...it was like I caught each of them cheating on their wives. It was so awkward, I wished them luck on the draft and got a few quiet "thanks", and that was it.

I second this.And if you could kindly place a Browns jersey infront of trent and snap a photo.. just so we can see how it looks 8.5hrs ahead of schedule. Id be forever grateful.

I tried to walk by Radio City earlier. They have the entire sidewalk blocked off so they can set up a red carpet, complete with "Primetime NFL draft" backsplash. I really wish we could just enjoy the draft without having it be an "event".
