I wouldn't want the first pick because I don't want to make that choice.
All things being equal and nothing happens in training camp I would take Barkley and not be comfortable with it. Best O-Line and explosive ability has to be who I take.
Understandable hesitation, Gally. Barkley's upside behind that O-Line is tempting, but Bijan's versatility and youth might offer more long-term value. Tough call either wa
How long can you keep a guy and at what cost (round lost, salary, etc)? I wasn't thinking about the long term keeper aspect and was thinking more with a redraft mentality because you only had two keepers. However, depending on the cost of keeping players that could change my mind for sure.
no keeping anyone drafted in the first 3 rounds last year, those players go back into the pool for parity. you can keep any 2 players you drafted after rd 3.
well in our league QBs end up being some of the highest scorers so i expect the usual suspects will go in rd 2 depending on who kept who, right now the keepers arent due until August . I feel like every time a player has a career year im chasing points the following year , Saquon has that feeling to me , My luck he`ll do even better this year , but hes definitely in play . I figure Bowers would have gone in the first or 2nd rd , hes the new Kelci and hes mine at rd 10, so i feel like im in a nice spot with whomever is available at the 2/3 rd turn , i imaging going WR /RB on the turn .
My concern is splitting with Montgomery , the guy who won it all last season had both him and Gibbs and that worked out for him , he often kept them both in his starting lineup, worked out well, if i grabbed Gibbs id have to spend an early pick grabbing Montgomery.
