I'm starting Demaryius Thomas vs Indy over? (1 Viewer)

Given the circumstances in Denver, he is a very solid start this week. Denver, barring a miracle, will be playing catchup vs. the Colts. Denver's short two starting d-backs, one being Bailey so Manning and Co. should have a field day. Indy is without Sanders as well. Take the over in this one.

I am benching him in favor of MSW and Shaincoe. I think...

I think his ceiling is higher than both of those mentioned but his floor is also lower. I don't need a huge week out of those positions to win this week, just consistent production I think will get me there so I am begrudgingly leaning towards letting DT season on my bench another week.

I think Thomas will be a WR you have to start every week in order to get fantasy production. He has the capability of going for 10/120 and 2 TDs but he will also go 3/30 in some games.

I have him in over Malcom Floyd
Really? That's ballsy imo.
My logic is that Thomas has more catches in the 2 drives he's played so far than Floyd has had in 2 full games. If Floyd doesn't get the big play he won't provide much for fantasy.
Damn this is encouraging.I just traded Floyd (for Moreno, 12 hours pre-injury (always wait for the end of the weekend to complete a trade I guess) with the idea that Dem. Thomas would be coming on and I would be benching Floyd in the future, starting with this week. I saw the 3 catches in 2 straight games and the need for the big play for Floyd to produce. But then with Mathews out I wonder if Rivers doesn't air it out even more.

It's a great week to start him. No Bob Sanders, the Colts are going to be easier to score on.
No easier than they have been the last 3 years. Sanders has played in a total of 6 games since 2007. Although he would add a boost to their pass defense, its a non factor in looking at the pass defense as a whole over the last season or 2.But, I do think Thomas has everything in front of him this week to add onto what he has done so far. It should be a high scoring game. And I don't believe either corner the Colts have can cover him one on one.

Hmmm. Interesting.I have Floyd and Thomas in 2 different leagues. Right now I have Floyd as a starter but I might reconsider....Dammit.

I'm debating him over Knox.
What, & give up Knox's 4/60??Yeah, I'm being facetious. Had I won Thomas in the same league I own Knox, pretty sure I'd be starting Thomas. I think GB/Chi is gonna be much lower-scoring than expected by many. Denver should be needing to play catch-up all day, & their "lead" RB is out.

I am not saying he isn't a decent play, but I do not understand the logic of Sanders not playing having anything to do with it. Bob has scarcely played through the years anyway, and Melvin Bullit is a pro bowl caliber replacement. Just my $.02.

Wow, you guys are nuts. 1 good game and he's in over Ochocinco and DeAngelo Williams?

You're doing it wrong.

I was thinking the same thing. He plays one game, doesn't face the doubles, no one has any tape on him and he has a nice game. Unless your desperate I wouldn't play him over many of the guys mentioned in this thread. I'd take a wait and see for another week.

Td only league I have R Moss, B. Marshall, and Nicks. Plus Floyd, and Bowe on my bench. I cant start him over Nicks, but I'm tempted

Racking my brain over DT, MWilliamsTB, and Dez at WR3. I think I'm down to Dez and DT.....both have a shot to be playing catchup....ahhhh

Have him benched in favor of Marshall, Welker, and Santana Moss. However, Thomas should have a productive week, Moreno is out so he is the most talented offensive weapon and the Colts will score enough that Denver will have to throw. I would easily start him over guys like Knox, Harvin, or Floyd.

in a 10 team 2 WR 2 RB + flex, 0.5 ppr starting him over:Santana MossI'm swinging for the fence this week
:thumbup:If you're swinging for the fence why bench Santana when he is clearly McNabb's favorite target and he is playing StL?

Percy Harvin?? Not sure
DT in over Harvin. This is my 3rd WR slot, so I don't expect much from it to begin with...and have gotten nothing from Harvin thus far anyway.Harvin is on my bench until he shows something...starting with being able to play an entire game of football.

I'm just worried about one week wonders, ie Breaston after week 1. But I made the switch. I'll either be loving you or hating you after the game. :-)
