I'm starting Jackie Battle over __________ (1 Viewer)

James Starks and Jahvid Best (If he is out)... still may start him over both of them though.

 
With injuries and bye weeks, JACKIE BATTLE is my #1 RB this week. Starting him over the likes of Ingram, Torrain, Thomas, Lynch...

 
I'm starting JACKIE BATTLE over everyone. Heck, he may even end up being both my #1 and #2 RB starters due to bye weeks and injuries...

 
PPR league, and I need to decide between Battle and Mo Morris as my flex. Mo Morris has been money as a flex in recent years when he starts. Think I may give Battle one more week as Todd Haley is insane. Schwartz already said Mo will carry the load. Haley could give all the carries to McClain for all we know.

Bold call but I don't blame you. I have both Williams and Carter and I don't feel too confident about starting them this week even though I have bye problems and may have to start them.

At the expense of getting into too much of a WDIS tangent, unless I am missing something, I don't see it as bold at all. D-Will is getting limited carries, is being outplayed by Stewart, and if it's not Cam at the goal line, it's Stewart. Carter is not doing much with his opportunity, while Brown is. Looks like a clear RBBC.

I'm inclined to agree with you, except that we don't have enough info yet to know whether Battle himself is not in a RBBC. Still, I like your call.
 
I am considering starting him over Jonathan Stewart. I'll have to see how the week progresses. I will say that I have had Stewart for 3 years and whenever I start him he bombs.

 
Sorry fellow Battle owners, but I am starting him this week. And every move I have made this year has turned to poo. So expect DWill to put up 100 and a TD since he will be on my bench.

I need someone to pair with MJD (I hate that matchup, too). Probably starting him over:

Felix/Murray

Ingram

DeAngelo

Ingram might get the nod, though. And Murray is facing the Rams....

I have strapped on a set and started him (and Mo Morris) over MJD. MJD is not getting it done at all this year, and is facing the Ravens D. I know it seems like a ballsy move, but I made it without much hesitation.

ETA: "Not getting it done" is not 100% true, but he is certainly not lighting it up to the point where he should be an automatic start regardless of opponent.

Turns out I've got him in 3 of 4 leagues. He's starting in all of them.

Over Starks / Floyd

Over Hillis / Best/Morris / Tolbert (Bradshaw on bye and there are bonuses for 5+ ypc and 100 yards)

Over DWill / Lynch (FJax on bye, but the real decision will come when I see if my waiver claim is enough to get Torain. Then I'll need to decide between Torain & Battle.)

 
in PPR flex position i have to decide between Battle and Decker.

Is Battle's ceiling high enough that a mediocre performance by him against Oakland beats a possible mediocre performance by Decker in his new #1 spot with Tebow chucking at him (or running and ignoring him more like)?

Leaning towards Battle but its not an easy decision.

 
I'm starting him over Best and Sproles in one league and I have him benched for Ingram and Torain in another league.

Both leagues are non-ppr.

 
C,mon guys, some of the players listed in this thread are on bye week. It's kinda self-evident that you're starting someone "over" them. :rolleyes:

(I'm sitting Battle for MoMo).
