Long-suffering Alexa Seary - pronounced Siri - shares her name with the world-dominating Amazon and Apple products.

Alexa, 21, endured a torrent of bad jokes after Apple's popular 'personal assistant' function Siri was introduced in 2011.

She was was teased by friends and colleagues, at the restaurant she works part-time, who addressed her by her surname and gave her commands like a machine.

Although the hysteria eventually died down, but she was stunned in 2015 when Amazon released its own human-like bot, the Amazon Echo - and called it Alexa.
