I bought on Jaime Garcia in the pre-season, and I liked what I saw today. A little too wild, but the 12/3 GB/FB is delicious, and reminiscent of the work Duncan did with Pineiro to fashion him into a GB pitcher.

i wish i would have drafted garcia for $1. he'd be nice to have.

i am seriously mulling dropping padilla after 2 starts. if it was free, i would.

I picked up Garcia on pre-season waivers in the Serious Business dynasty league, where almost all rotation SPs are rostered. I not expecting too much this year; he'll probably be on pitch and IP limits as he recovers from TJ surgery. But he had good K/BB numbers and high GB% in the minors.

Not sure that that's the same party.

It's one thing to have a "waiver wire" thread that talks about who is available.

It's quite another to have a log of the adds/drops that folks actually make. At least IMO.

Anyhow, I dropped Stubbs and picked up Ian Desmond to round out my backups.

Now I'll go back to the other thread to contemplate picking Stubbs back up and losing Blanks
