But . . . no question at all that the offense got markedly better at receiving options. Jonnu and Agholar are great fits in the McDaniels offense. And I feel like Bourne always answered the call when receivers went down for San Fran. Still work to do but they are filling holes on that offense with solid players.

If he picks up where he ended up last year I don't have an issue with this...the Pats only had one viable WR (Meyers) and had to build an entire unit...still need more but at least they are up to bat now and there are no long term commitments.

Agholor is the locker room guy who can do a little bit of everything. Not a stud wr1 but a decent player with 4.4 speed who caught a lot of longer touchdowns last year.

Bourne has flashed but has been blocking in the Shanahan offense for years. 

Jonnu is a good blocker and receiver and has been blocking for a run heavy team for years. 

Brown is a full grown man who's got two inches and 25 lbs on cannon.  

I was hoping they'd get Rudolph but the effect will be similar. This will be a run heavy team.  I'll bet hey're going to try to bring in a bigger back to pair with Harris.

I don’t think he will make it to 15. And if NE needs to trade up anyway, I would rather they moved up for someone other than Jones. IMO, he played with a clean pocket with essentially all NFL level talent in Alabama, many of which will be first round picks.

I think he could be more useful than you are giving him credit for. But let’s see how the rest of the roster fills out first. 

And for those asking about cap space, the Pats usually have low first year salaries and spread the signing bonus across the life of the contract, which typically means the smallest cap hit would be in the first year.
