Pretty funny, least that Dallas thread can die now. Not sure what happens in this game. Manning better keep his team on the field using the short passing game and power running game. Take some shots down field and they will be good to go. This will not be a blowout. Have at it boys. NE fans will be up in here soon, have a blast. I will sure be watching this thread.

Brady = Manning ( Maybe a slight Brady lean becasue of his 07 dominance )
Maroney = Addai - as far as talent goes
Moss / Welker / Stalworth > Old Gimpy Harrison, Wayne , Gonzo
Clark = Watson ( maybe slight edge to Clark due to injury ) - Watson was no slouch before he was injured and I think he is good to go this week.
NE O line > Ind O line
NE D line > Ind D LIne
NE LB's > Ind Lb's
NE DB's > Ind Db's ( Sanders makes this close though )
NE ST > Ind ST
Bellichick > Dungy
Where other than Playing at Home does Indy have a advantage -- In other years Ind always had a vastly better offense but NE alwasy had a great D.
This season NE offense at worst ='s the Colts O -- Their Defense is as great or better than years past at least in terms of talent especially getting Seymour back.
Indy might win due to it being in Indy and they have the fire power tp maybe keep it close -- but on a neutral field Indy loses going away.

i think you need to look at it like this...NE run defense vs. Indy run offenseNE pass defense vs. Indy pass offenseetc.etc.comparing WR's to WR's is pretty pointless.

I will say straight up for the QB'S JUST plain stupid to say anything else.by far Addai is better then Maroney.WR NE is better but Harrison will be fine and not gimpy that is why he did not play this week otherwise he probably would have played. The edge is because of the 3rd wr Welker other then that Indy's front two are better.TE Clark is better period.O-Line man that to me is a slight edge to Indy. By far the better run blockers.DL Ne is better by not by a bunchLB Ne is better DB are =ST- Ne not Coaching slight edge to NE very slight but BB is the best Dungy not far behind. Being that it is in Indy is a big deal. It is not a neutral site so that is a pipe dream. This is a draw and will come down to what qb plays better IMO. TURNOVERS
Manning>Brady, please Brady right now is becoming the best ever if he keeps this up. He's going for Mannings record and there is noting Peyton can do about it. The gameplan for Belichek will be to stop addai once he does that the colts will be one dimensional and Manning could be in for a long day.

I just want a great game. These are the two best teams in the league over the last 6 years. They played one of the best games I've ever seen in last years AFCG. Sadly from this point NE got way, way better, and Indy didn't. NO matter how you slice it, on paper NE is a better team. But, they still have to play the game.

The hyperbole will be out of control when the Pats beat the Colts 48-24. Even being a Pats fan it will be hard to listen to the media ball wash the Pats.

Everyone who doesnt live in Boston hates the Pats. They're dirty, cheaters, and a classless organization. Even Steve Young on ESPN just now said that he hopes to see someone pound the Pats and that they are running up the score needlessly.
The Pats championship titles are tainted now because of spygate, put an asterisk on each title. Philadelphia even complained to the league before the Superbowl, guess the league should have taken them seriously.
Anything the Pats accomplish this year is being tarnished with their attitude "we got caught cheating so let's show the whole league." They are cheaters and always will be. Tom Brady isn't even the golden boy he used to be, knocking up fine ladies and then throwing them out like yesterday's garbage and claiming he's not the father. Can't wait till Bob Sanders knocks off his head.

Well, he only has one kid, he left training camp to be there for the birth (in California, which is not next to Foxboro) and he has vowed to be a part of his son's life.Your problem with this is, what, exactly?
Biased? Nah...I'm no Patriots fan, but I can't ignore the obvious; the Pats are totally loaded. Indy is still real good, probably the second best team in the NFL, but that doesn't change the fact that the gap between the best and second best team this year is greater than any other year I have ever seen.
I feel very confident that the Pats will run the table and go 19-0. Indy is chum in the water. They'll score points, but the Pats offense is simply unstoppable right now.

IMO this game pretty much will come down to if Assante Sameul will be able to keep up the level of play he's had the last two weeks and hold Wayne in check and the ability for the Pats to take away Dallas Clark. They've focused on taking out the better TE's this season, Witten and Cooley, and it really has helped solve one of the Pats main problems from last year. If that happens this game is a blowout, if not then its going to be a long day for both defenses.

We'll see. I sure hope not but each O can sure score in a hurry. We might see 28-7 and then 35-28 or somesuch. I don't think either team will feel safe with any lead they have.I see this as the loser plays the red hot Chargers in the playoffs.

I just hope its a great game. I hate build-up for only one team to win by 35points and everyone say how I told you so. This game means not a whole lot. Both these teams are playoff teams, neither of these teams will go underfeated, so each team has a chance of homefield, whoever loses. Im wondering how great the Pats are in a playoff format. Running the ball and stopping the run equals playoff success. The Pats have shown they can pass and stop the run, but can they run the ball????
Who gets a bye then in your opinion?

Whether or not they can in January, who knows? We'll have to see. But right now, theyre 4th in the league in rushing attempts/game, and that's with their 2 leading backs banged up for a good part of the first 8 games. Theyre also 8th in rushing yds/game, which is 4.5 yds less/game than the 5th ranked Colts. They run by choice. And when they need to. Like this past Sunday, when they faced a good secondary looking to shut down the pass. They outgained the 'Skins on the ground 152-47. I have no doubts they'll run the ball to win when the time comes.
