Can we expect much out of him this weekend with Harrison + Gonzalez out and with Dallas Clark iffy. Jammer is out for the Dolts, is this Aaron Moorhead worth a looksey this week?

gotta be the first time in a while that there's only one Indy WR in the top 65 of the FBG WR rankings

I cant get over his last name. In a preseason game this year Peyton Manning wqas dropping back to pass and the announcer actually said "Manning looking for Moorehead."

:football: :lmao: :lmao:

He's horrid. The only thing he has is "knowledge of the system." I'd rather see Craphonso Thorpe out there than Moorehead - which should speak for itself.

Slow, poor hands, timid, just what you don't want in a FB player. His dad didn't pass the genes!Just speculating here, but I could see the Colts trying to play Utecht more as the H-Back/TE and splitting Clark out wide. And, I agree with dj, I'd rather see the Crap (Craphonso Thorpe) running routes. He is lightening fast and would at the least stretch the field.

With all the injuries does Thorpe actually see significant playing time tonight? Worth a flier in a league where we start 5 WRs and I have Welker and Stallworth on byes and a useless S Moss?

What he lacks in talent he could compensate for today in opportunity. Last week, Gonzalez had 3 targets (including a drop in the end zone) as the replacement for Harrison. He went out with an injury and Moorehead came in and got 5 targets. That's 8 targets to the flanker position. The bad news is Moorehead and Gonzalez only combined to catch 3 of them so that doesn't exude much confidence. But the opportunity should be there for Moorehead to catch 4-5 passes today - especially if Clark sits and/or if the Chargers' run defense bounces back in any meaningful way.

I wouldn't go crazy with your expectations because Moorehead isn't very good. But he obviously has the QB and system to help him and I think if Clark sits or is limited he will definitely be needed and he'll definitely be involved. The Chargers are going to roll coverage toward Wayne and work hard to take out Clark if he plays so Moorehead will get every chance to do something. If there was ever a week to roll the dice with him I think this is it. He's a huge gamble and he's a desperation play but if you are desperate the opportunity for him should be there.

Safe projection is probably 4-50-0. Maybe he has an outside shot at a TD.
