Just got invited to participate in a 14 team 8x8 HTH keeper league. All teams must keep 3 players and can keep up to 5.

Weekly roster is 7p(any combo of (rp/sp), 1b,2b,ss,3b,3of,1dh,1utility if.

Scoring Categories are: Batting- H,BA,R,HR,SB,OB%,SLUG%,RBI. Pitching: IP,W,SV,ERA,K,BAA,WHIP QS

Possible Keepers:

Alex Gordon 3B

Stephen Drew SS

V.Wells OF

C. Guillen 1B/3B

Z.Grinke SP

S. Kazmir SP

J. Lester SP

J. Chamberlain SP/RP

I'm thinking on keeping Lester, Grinke and Drew, possibly along with Guillen and see if I can trade Chamberlain for something decent . Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Id rather if you kept hitters but your hitting choices are limited. I might consider Gordon over Drew.

If you only keep three players, does that mean you get two picks in the draft before the guys who kept five?

If so, then you have to compare your #4 & #5 keepers against the other teams' expected discards.
