My ex-wife has had ongoing mental health issues since early January of this year. DCF called me up in early April and told me if I didn't go to court to take custody of our two daughters from their mother, that they would go to court to take custody from BOTH of us. So we go back to court (3rd trip) tomorrow.

Anyhow... the two girls have problems. For now, let's refer to my youngest daughter as "C"

Her: "American laws make people lazy"

Me: "A lot of people would agree with you on that"

Her: I asked "C" why she doesn't work harder in school... doesn't she want to go to college and get a good job?

Her: "C" just replied, "my mom says if I cant get a job the government will take care of us."

Sad but true.

A lot of people do think like that. Many people have no intention of ever working. Look at the rising number of people on food stamps. For some reason it does not feel like our leaders (Dem and Rep) want to solve this problem.
