I was (and still might) post about the Big 3 pending FAs going into 2011 for the Jets. I remember talk of the winner of the Holmes/Edwards duel would get a contract, but they bring such different things to the table, I am not sure how you prioritize. Cromartie is hot and cold, but he is a wonderful placeholder for Kyle Wilson, plus while you can say he could have covered Garcon better on the TD, he came back as a kick returner and responsible for the Jets winning that game. When it comes to the WRs, I wonder whether Cotchery may be the odd man out. He is a great player and great Jet, but his skillset is more of the "garden variety". Edwards is big and plays big (with speed). Holmes is a burner who can catch the ball. Cotchery is a good possession receiver, but he is not elite in that class of player. Maybe they can keep them all, but I would not be surprised if Cotch is the one to hit the market.
