Is Newton a must start (1 Viewer)

I run an auction/keeper league. Last year, I waited on QB and had a committee situaton all year long. I hated it and never seemed to start the right guy. Ever.

So this year, I targeted Newton as my guy. A guy I could plug in every week and a position I didn't need to worry about.

Cam loked much better last week but I am begining to worry how he will respond if the Panthers continue to struggle.

I'm just wondering what the pool thinks about Cam moving forward and if he is still generally considered a must start every week. Thanks.

I started a thread a few weeks ago on this topic that had some good discussion. I wen out and picks up ponder and dalton on wire after giants game but still starting cam every week at this point. He really only looked bad in giants game. Versus Bucs he played well just bad fantasy day

Newton has show this year that you can consider benching him vs good defenses if you have another qb1 type or qb2 with a good matchup. The problem with this year vs last is Newton has displayed a floor of single digits whereas last year his floor was mid to high teens.
