I've had portis on my roster for the last 2 yrs. yes he finished top 10 for rb's but it seemed like he rarely made a big impact, plus all the injurie concerns.
I've had portis on my roster for the last 2 yrs. yes he finished top 10 for rb's but it seemed like he rarely made a big impact, plus all the injurie concerns. So is he a top 5 back in a PPr league?
Was the 3rd best producing RB behind Westbrook and LT2 in Hyper Active leagues last season and is consistently being drafted in the 2nd round in dynasty drafts this year. Looks like a pretty good value pick to me.
He may not end up at #5, but he's one of the safest bets you'll get. If you draft him at 5, and he ends up 7-10, you haven't lost your season. If you draft Travis Henry at 5 and he ends up at 39, well forget about it.
In 6 seasons he's only had under 1500 total yards once - 2006 when he was injured. Besides 2006 he's only scored less than 11 TD's one other time, which was his first with the Redskins.
