Is stashing a player on IL bad etiquette? (1 Viewer)

Tommy Pham thinks so. The baseball player was in a fantasy league with Joc Pederson.

Pham punched Pederson in the face for doing this. Pham runs hot so he might not be a good judge of right and wrong.

For example, every week I have been using my kicker spot to add Elijiah Mitchell. He has been inactive every game. I add him to IL before the game and then add a kicker. He then loses his IL eligibility at the beginning of the following week and then I drop him.

I repeat the process every week.

The fact that you're dropping him means you're not doing the stashing thing the way I understand it where it's a problem. I feel like the issue people have is when you leave a guy that's not IR eligible there week after week and don't move him to your bench when he's ineligible. I have a few opinions about that since you can't add or drop as long as an ineligible player is there but essentially trying to use it as an extra bench spot isn't the best etiquette. You're dropping him so other people can grab him if they want so it's not like he's inaccessible to everybody else. You're basically doing what everybody has to do with guys like Irving and Lamb right now where they get listed as questionable and have to be moved to a bench spot but in your case you're dropping the guy instead.
